FINAL EXAMINATIONS
English 101 and English 101B (Posted May 27, 2008)
The English 101 Final Exam is scheduled for Wednesday, June 4, in Hall 3 (W6-001). The test is scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m., so it is VERY important that you arrive early. The exam has two parts: reading (55 minutes) and listening (25 minutes). You must also bring two no. 2 pencils and an eraser.
- If you are ill or have a car accident, you must call 5307402 no later than 8:30, or you will not be allowed to make up the final exam. Please remember that you are allowed to make up only one assessment during the term.
- Students who arrive 30 minutes after the hour (9:30) will not be admitted. No student may leave the examination room until 40 minutes after the start; students who leave the examination room will not be readmitted.
- All students must have their GUST photo IDs and place them on their desks: ID will be checked during the exam.
- Students must leave all books and other materials related to the course outside the exam room; women's purses may be left under their chairs.
- All mobile phones must be turned off; if a phone rings or is visible during the examination, the student must turn in the exam and leave the room.

Posted April 3 - Attention English 102 Students
Sunday, April 6, will be a study day for all English 102 students. Students who attend classes from 8 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., must sign in with Ms. Maria. Students who attend classes from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. must sign in with Mr. Waleed.

Laptops
Students enrolled in English 101B, 101, and 102 must have laptops. They are to bring their laptops to class with them every day because most exercises and activities require a laptop. Also, all quizzes and exams are given on-line. Students are responsible for making sure their laptop batteries are charged and for configuring their laptops so that they can access the wireless GUST system.
Textbooks
Students are to bring their textbooks and handouts to class every day. After Feb. 17, 2008, students will not be allowed to share textbooks and handouts in class.
